The first task of members of the Order of Saint Augustine is to "be of one mind and one heart on the way to God." This is first expressed inside the Augustinian house by community living. Persekutuan hidup.

Tugas utama setiap biarawan Ordo Santo Augustinus adalah menjadi 'sehati sejiwa dalam perjalanan menuju Allah'. Hal ini diungkapkan dalam komunitas Augustin melalui hidup dalam persekutuan dan persaudaraan. Apabila seorang Augustin melayani umat, maka ia mewakili seluruh komunitasnya.
